A special guest :-

Since our last meeting some members have visited the Tweed Gallery where Gail spoke to us about the criteria we would need to fulfil for a successful application. It was decided to bring work we intend to exhibit to the next meeting.

Kate showed us her collection of Chinese embroideries and garments. The children's hats were so charming.

26th March - 10th May - Tweed Gallery, Tamworth Textiles

27th -29th March - Craft Expo, GC Convention Centre. 3 days only

29th March - Tweed Gallery, walk and talk around the exhibition

31st March - Sewing day at Mary's.

4th April - a new textile group to meet at Southport Emb. Guild on the 1st Saturday of the month from 10am till 2. Ask Elizabeth for details.

2nd June - Lorraine from Isle of Capri ($10 for kit).

28th July - our Birthday, venue to be decided

11th and 25th August - Pat Skene workshop ($40 for class and $50 for kit).

A short meeting where a letter from the Guild was discussed.

Don't forget we are meeting at the Regional Art Gallery on Tuesday 10th March at 11 am to view the hanging space for a future exhibition.
